Self-Disciplinary Convention of Arbitrators

For the purposes of impartial and timely arbitration of economic disputes to protect lawful rights and interests and deserve the confidence of the parties, we hereby solemnly make covenants and warrants by signing this convention to be loyal to law, duty bound, and remain upright, honest and impartial, and we hereby make commitment to:
1.observe public order, respect social morals, comply strictly with arbitral conduct and value the reputation of arbitration;
2.arbitrate cases in a serious, diligent, efficient and prudent manner, and exercise independently the right of arbitration by law;
3.perform the duty of voluntary disclosure and withdrawal on bona fide principle to maintain justice and impartiality of arbitration;
4.treat parties equally without contacting or attempting to contact in any form any of the parties or its representative in private, without being biased thereto;
5.keep in confidence arbitration-related secrets, trade secrets of the parties and personal privacy;
6.observe disciplines of arbitration proceedings, attend oral hearings and deliberation in time without being late, leaving earlier or being absent; not to use any communication tool, not enter, or retreat from, the arbitral tribunal at will, nor do anything irrelevant to such hearings during arbitration proceedings;
7.be respectful to, cooperative with, and supportive to other arbitrators of the same tribunal;
8.be attired with solemn and respectful look, well behaved, and properly expressed in words.
